Natural jewel fishing area
Fuscher Ache
Fishing between the Großglockner and Lake Zell, in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region!

The Fuscher Ache is managed by the VÖAFV Fuscher Ache. One of the main focuses is the breeding of the native brown trout. The quality of the stocking is characterized by the old fish population. What makes it special is that the upper sections of the waters are home to a primordial population of the Danube brown trout.
The fishing section of the Fuscher Ache starts in the Käfertal, a high valley with an impressive valley closure, surrounded by several 3,000-meter peaks of the Großglockner group. It then continues through the Ferleitental with calm river stretches, rock undercuts, and gravel banks, surrounded by lush meadows and beautifully located alpine pastures. The reservoir is also located here. After passing through the gorge with various pools, it flows through the two towns, Fusch and Bruck, before finally flowing into the Salzach River.
