Beginners can practice comfortably at the small village lift in Fusch on the Großglocknerstraße, while intermediate and advanced skiers can explore the vast variety of nearby ski areas. In just a few minutes, you can reach Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See or the glacier ski resort Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun – conveniently with the free ski bus. The Ski Circus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is also easily accessible. Thanks to its high snow reliability, especially on the glacier, the BRUCK FUSCH | GROSSGLOCKNER region offers almost year-round skiing fun!

Surrounded by the stunning natural landscape of the Hohe Tauern, our practice lift in Fusch is located just behind the church. Whether young or old, beginner or experienced skier – the facility offers a simple and family-friendly way to enjoy winter sports. Here, you can learn to ski in a calm atmosphere without long waiting times, or after a long day, take a few relaxing turns. Attractive ticket prices provide the perfect opportunity to try skiing, while the modern snow-making system ensures perfectly groomed slopes at all times. A special highlight that no one should miss!

Ticket prices:

Free access with a valid SKI ALPIN ski pass from the Ski Circus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, Schmittenhöhe Zell am See, or Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun.

  • Adults: Day pass: 14,00 EUR

  • Adults Half-day pass from 1:00 PM: 10.00 EUR

  • Children: Day pass: 12.00 EUR

  • Children: Half-day pass from 1:00 PM: 8.00 EUR

  • Try-out ticket (2 hours): 6.00 EUR

Parking:
During operating hours, the parking lot behind the Römerhof directly below the ski lift is available for free use.

Opening hours:
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 01:00 p.m. to 04:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.

 


Schmittenhöhe Zell am See

The Schmittenhöhe is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful vantage mountains in Austria. With impressive views over Zell am See and the sparkling Zeller Lake, as well as breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Hohe Tauern mountains, it offers a unique panorama filled with majestic three-thousand-meter peaks. An absolute highlight for all skiing enthusiasts! The ski area, with its 77 kilometers of slopes and over 20 modern lifts, offers a variety of runs suitable for every level of ability, from gentle family slopes and more challenging descents to demanding black runs and freeride routes.

Especially family-friendly, the Schmittenhöhe offers numerous children's areas and ski schools that introduce the little ones to skiing in a playful way. The high snow reliability, supported by modern snow-making systems, ensures excellent slope conditions for almost the entire season. The Schmittenhöhe is only a few minutes away from the BRUCK FUSCH | GROSSGLOCKNER region and provides an unforgettable experience for the whole family as well as for sporty and ambitious winter athletes.

Kitzsteinhorn/Maiskogel – Kaprun

The Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun is Salzburg's only glacier ski resort and a true paradise for winter sports enthusiasts. With guaranteed snow from October to early summer, it is the perfect place to enjoy the winter wonderland. Since the 2019/2020 winter season, the K-ONNECTION cable car provides a direct link from the center of Kaprun through the popular family ski area Maiskogel all the way up to the legendary Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. This impressive cable car connection offers spectacular views and unique perspectives of the pristine, high-alpine winter landscape on each of its sections. With its 70 mountain lifts and 270 kilometers of slopes, the Ski Circus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is one of the largest and most beautiful ski resorts in the Alps. Here, every winter sports enthusiast will find exactly what they are looking for: perfectly groomed slopes of all difficulty levels, from gentle family runs to challenging black pistes for professionals. The modern snow-making system on all main slopes ensures optimal snow conditions throughout the entire season.
