Once again this year, we are offering a visitor bus to the Fuscher Törl. Enjoy the stunning mountain views as the vintage tractors make their way to the Fuscher Törl.

Tickets for the visitor bus are available on Friday at the merchandise tent in Ferleiten. Please note that there are only a limited number of tickets available and these are sold on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.

Price: Adults 27 EUR | Children 15 EUR – the price includes the toll for the Großglockner High Alpine Road

Departure: 06.55 a.m. in front of the ticket office in Ferleiten | Return: after the road closure ends (approx. 10.00 a.m.)

The participation fee for 2026 is EUR 138,00.

Refuelling the vintage tractor with synthetic fuel is mandatory.
The fuel must be obtained from us during the event weekend.
There is a minimum refuelling quantity, which is 10 litres for tractors with a small tank volume (up to 25 litres) and 20 litres for all other tractors.
The synthetic fuel can be mixed with normal fuel. No one has to empty their tank, the synthetic fuel can be added to the fuel already in the tank.
The minimum refuelling level is checked by us in Ferleiten during registration.

You can refuel at the following petrol stations during these times:

Petrol station (1): Thursday, 17^th September, 01.00 p.m. to 05.00 p.m. and
                                 Friday, 18^th September, 10.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m.

Petrol station (2): Friday, 18^th September, 10.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m.

Petrol station (3): Friday, 18^th September, 10.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m.

Only vehicles authorised to drive may take part in the event. 
We require a valid written certificate from you in accordance with §57a Para. 4 KFG 1967 (Austrian standard) or §29 of the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO - German standard).
This will be copied and stored in the registration office.
Please obtain a valid written certificate in advance, as an on-site inspection is not possible.
Tractors with a design speed of less than 25 km/h, which are not subject to periodic inspections, must be checked by you for roadworthiness and operational safety.

Our partner, Lagerhaustechnik Bruck, will be happy to assist you.
On request, the experienced mechanics will carry out a quick check on your tractor.
If you have any technical questions regarding the quick check, please contact Lagerhaustechnik Bruck directly (+43 6545 6528).

Attention! Lagerhaustechnik Bruck is NOT able to carry out an expert opinion according to §57a para. 4 KFG 1967.
Tractors that are not classified as roadworthy and operationally safe cannot take part in the evaluation drive on 21 September 2025.

Participants from Germany are advised that the red ‘07’ registration plate is not recognised as a valid vehicle registration in Austria. Vehicles with a German red ‘07’ registration plate are not considered to be registered vehicles within the meaning of Section 82 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1967 (KFG 1967).

Vehicles with this registration plate are excluded from taking part in the Vintage Tractor World Championship.

German short-term number plates (yellow number plates) may be used as a legally permissible alternative. Vehicles with such number plates are considered to be registered in Austria for the duration of their validity and may be used accordingly.

We recommend that all participants take this into account when travelling to and taking part in the Tractor World Championship in order to avoid any legal or insurance-related issues.

A ‘07’ number plate will be detected during registration, resulting in a ban on participation (the entry fee will not be refunded).

We would like to point out that road users are also to be expected in the closed section (Ferleiten till Fuschertörl from 07:30 - 10:00 a.m.). Special care must be taken when travelling down the road (e.g. overtaking, in hairpin bends, etc.). Furthermore, we can only allow participants to take part in the competition ride if their clothing or other appearance suggests that all fittings and controls are in proper working order.

Put your tractor skills to the test in our skills competition.
Drive through the gates with centimetre precision, show a light touch on the accelerator and judge the distance accurately. All these tasks and more await you!
The top participants will be honoured at the grand awards ceremony on Saturday as part of the World Championship Ball.

The fun competition for true wood enthusiasts!

Join us for the first-ever Timber Games as part of the Vintage Tractor World Championship. Five fun and challenging stations await you:

• Timed sawing
• Nail-driving
• Screw-driving challenge
• Splitting logs in half
• Precision sawing

The top three players will be awarded prizes during the grand prize-giving ceremony in the World Championship marquee.

Rides in the region should also be prevented as much as possible this year, rallies are prohibited.
That means for you: Park your tractor at your accommodation on Thursday, drive to Ferleiten on Friday to register and stay there overnight, enjoy the world championship ride up the Grossglockner on Saturday and park at your accommodation again.

So that you don't have to worry about your vintage tractor, we offer you a monitored car park in Ferleiten. A security company will be on site all night to protect your tractors from theft and vandalism.

We ask for your understanding that we nevertheless accept no liability for damage, theft or similar.

Another advantage is that your tractors will already be in pole position on the Saturday before the start.
This ensures a smooth start.
We ask you to use this opportunity and park your tractor in Ferleiten from Friday to Saturday, as this is a requirement of the authorities.
The more you comply with this, the better our chances of being able to organise the Oldtimer Tractor World Championships in the future.

Our free shuttle buses will take you comfortably from Ferleiten to Bruck and back to the start in Ferleiten on Saturday.

Participants arriving by lorry who do not have parking facilities at their accommodation may use the Areit 2 car park in Schüttdorf. Access is via the Salzachtal federal road. The car park is situated approximately 3.5 km from Bruck.
Trucks must be parked at the rear of the car park so that the front area remains available for day visitors to the Schmittenhöhe.
Once you have parked your Truck, please collect a free parking permit from the Schmittenhöhe Information Centre.
The car park is not monitored. Neither the organiser nor Schmittenhöhebahn AG accepts any liability for parked vehicles. Furthermore, we ask that you park your vehicles properly and leave the car park clean.

A big thank you goes to Schmittenhöhe for providing this parking facility free of charge.

If your tractor is unable to make the descent from the Großglockner High Alpine Road under its own power, a towing service provided by D’Ambros Argrar is available again this year. Please indicate that you require this service when registering.

There is a roadworks site with traffic lights on the stretch between the Embach Chapel and Ferleiten. It is normally possible to drive through, but during periods of heavy traffic – particularly on Fridays – there may be waiting times and delays.
We urge all participants to observe the traffic lights at all times. Please take potential delays into account when travelling to the event and allow plenty of time accordingly.

We are already fully booked and are no longer accepting new registrations, not even for the waiting list.
